A week of downs . . .

This week has been a tough one already! I have not understood my Polish classes at all and am feeling stupid and silly. It of course is the lie that satan wants me to believe. It is hard work right now. I am not motivated to do ANYTHING once I get in my flat. It is a real chore to even do the dishes this week.

This weekend, the women of JV are having a prayer weekend. Boy, do I EVER need it! I am feeling drained and a bit homesick this week. I know it will all pass and it is part of the transition process, but it sure is hard as you are going through it!

So keep up the prayers for me, dudes! I can sure use them right now!

Sorry you've had such a hard week, Alice. I hope this weekend will be invigorating for you.

Maybe one of these days I'll actually log into Skype and we can catch up.

Love you!

Polish is a tough language. Mine isn't perfect, but if there is anything I can help you with, I'd be happy to try. I'm an American, so I understand the leaps and hurdles you have to make to "get" this Polish language. I've lived in Krakow for nearly 10 years.

I enjoy reading about all your activities--my ministry is much quieter and stay-at-home because of 4 kids.

Take out the "P's" if you want to email and discuss language!
