Christmas and New Years

Christmas and New Years time was for family! I had such a great time with my family and it felt like I had never been away at times and yet, at other times it felt like I have not been here for years and years. It is a interesting tension to live. Here are some pictures of my last 2 weeks.

David (my new nephew) and I got to know one another! Isn't he cute!

My brother was born to be a father and this Christmas he proved it!

Yeah, he is a Colorado kid. So Auntie Alice got him his first Nalgene!

Every little Colorado boy needs his own pony, so Auntie Alice got him his first! I think he liked it!

We went to Wyoming to visit more family!

Then went to Rabbit Ears (Steamboat Springs), Colorado! Snowmobiling, watching movies and playing games!

My brother married the perfect wife! She loves the outdoors, her husband and being a mom!

Getting ready to snowmobile.

Yes, it is me ready to smowmobile!

Almost ready! It was so much fun!

David playing outside during a warmer day!

Bill (my brother) loved taking David on the sled and let mom drive!

We could not bring is huge duckie bath, so the kitchen sink had to do to warm up our little bear from the cold weather! He did not seem to mind it!

My time was wonderful! As I get ready to leave on Tuesday, I will with mixed emotions and the constant tension of having my heart living in two places.

Your visit looks like lots of fun and good family time, too. We're praying for you as you transition back with all those feelings and tensions. Btw, your nephew is adorable and I'm sure loved getting to know Auntie Alice.
