This year I was able to help out with my Denver church's high school coffee house/talent show. It was so much fun reconnecting with not only students, but also the adult leaders who used to be in the youth group when I was an adult leader! It is wonderful to see how God has continued growing leaders to lead the next generation in their journey with Jesus!Dani is a wonder woman who not only loves the youth of SGC but also the youth of Poland! We had a great time laughing and talking together!
Color me surprised when Jon Green got his small group together and did Michael Jackson's "Thriller" dance. It was GREAT to see this group of guys carry on the "Thriller" legacy! :)
The night was ended with Dan L. reading from Max Lacado's book, God Draws Near about how God chose a teenage girl to bring the Son of God into the world. It was a wonderful way to end the evening!
