I love family, in fact, the most difficult part of being here in Poland is being away from my parents, brother and sister-in-law, not to mention my precious two nephews! I miss them everyday and often struggle with "family-sickness".
Josiah Venture helps though. We have a family conference each year and it helps with "family-sickness". I have family here and enjoy it! For some strange reason, it was especially good this year and I am not sure why. God was meeting me where I needed to be met and He blessed me with rich times this year. I had a GREAT time with a group of the singles as we took time and just hung out together talking about life and ministry. I had great talks with people whom I normally do not get to talk with very much because our family is growing! God has truly blessed me with this group and he has blessed me with a family in Poland where we can laugh, pray, cry, struggle and rejoice with.
